Think about this, millions of people are being saved every year, approximately 1 to 2 billion people are attending church every week, yet the world is still is filled with so much hunger, disease, wars, famine and other social challenges. Why is this?
Why do only 4% to 8% of Christians Tithe? Why are there so many Christians struggling for breakthrough? Why are so many churches underfunded? Why are many churches being forced to shutdown? Why are many Pastors discouraged?
The answer is simple. Christianity has been severely impacted by “Babylons Culture”, but there is an answer!

OUR CULTURE IS CREATING POOR, DESPERATE AND STARVING PEOPLE
Our culture has been infiltrated by Babylon. This is the problem that needs to be addressed, but first let us understand Babylon.
Nimrod was the first leader of Babylon. He was the great Grandson of Noah. His name means to “Revolt” and that’s exactly what he did. He created a culture of unrighteousness, self centeredness and greed that enslaved millions of Gods people. It was counter cultural to Gods economy. Babylon ceased to exist in 539bc.
If it ceased to exist, why does the Lord refer to it in the book of Revelation in such ways as the “mother or all prostitutes”, as an “abomination” and he wants to “pour his wrath” upon her?.
The answer is simple. The Babylonian culture of greed, self centeredness and unrighteousness is still alive today in every nation of world. It is the reason we have so many desperate, hungry, starving and socially distressed people.
BABYLONS CULTURE HAS EFFECTED ALL OF US
The Babylonian culture of maximising self interest at the expense of others has driven the economies and the societies of virtually all nations since the very first transaction. It prevails at all levels of society, from individuals, to the family, to the church, to businesses, to the political parties, and at a national and international level. This isn’t just in the world, Babylon has infiltrated the lives of many believers. We know this because the Lord makes mention of it in Revelation 18:4 “‘Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues”.
Many of Gods childcare are caught up in Babylon and are not aware of it. This is not necessarily a deliberate action, but simply because they know no different. For example, in many countries we are taught this from the cradle to the grave, that we go to school to get an education because we must compete with others to get into university, to compete with others to get a good job, and once we have the job we must compete with others for promotion, so that in the marketplace we can compete with others to maximize our employer’s profits.
All of the above is undertaken so that at all levels we can accumulate or hoard our money for ourselves, for our retirement, and all of this is always at the expense of others; that is Babylons inherent nature.

IF WE CONTINUE LIKE THIS… NATIONS WILL FALL
As we continue like this, we create the social challenges of poverty, homelessness, unemployment, financial distress, depression, many other sicknesses, domestic violence, family breakdown, substance abuse, suicide, human trafficking, and at a national level the unsustainable debt and unfunded liabilities of our governments, and much more.
Every time we do a deal, or a transaction, or pass laws, we come closer to the moment when the disenfranchised will become so desperate that they rise up and society will be plunged into the anarchy of revolution. This has happened time and time again throughout history and, other than force majeure, there are few exceptions.
There is a solution.

A Sheep Nation (Mat 25) is a nation that operates off Gods Ways driven by a culture of caring, sharing, and prospering others. King Solomon was the first to do this 3000 years ago. He was the first man to bring Gods Kingdom to Earth. He created the worlds first “Sheep Nation”.
What is a Sheep Nation “A nation where there is no poverty, distress, desperation, hungry or starving people. A place where people live in peace, unity, love and health”.
Within the body of Christ there are business people, professionals, farmers, employee’s, students, political leaders and leaders of corporations. In fact over 97% of any church has people actively engaged in the marketplace. If all these people operated Gods Way, according to the Biblical principle of gleaning, whereby they would ensure that every party to every transaction has the opportunity to be cared for and prospered. This means they would not seek to extract every ounce of profit from every transaction, but would endeavor to share the profit with parties to the deal or with the local economy.

FORMING GODS NATIONS ON EARTH
If we ensure that every person prospers from every deal done. and genuinely care for people with Gods Love, we actually create people of means, who in turn can trade with us again, and if they too are doing business and ministry according to the same code of conduct, they too are creating people of means, and as a result, systemic poverty is steadily reduced and eventually eliminated. This in turn reduces other social distress which has its root causes in the financial hardship caused by Babylons floored culture of greed, unrighteousness and self-centeredness. This is the only economic culture which can possibly work in the longer term.
THIS NEW SUSTAINABLE CULTURE HAS TO START WITH US, THE CHRISTIANS, THE ENGINE ROOM OF NATIONS! IF WE ACTIVELY ENGAGE IN DOING THINGS GODS WAY, WE CAN BRING GODS CULTURE AND KINGDOM INTO THIS WORLD AND TRANSFORM NATIONS!
